SignupShield Passwords for the U3 platform is a smart, plug & play password manager which tracks passwords submitted to sign-in, sign-up and password change forms so that it can fill those forms automatically when needed.
SignupShield handles web based forms and network login and FTP login forms.
SignupShield plug & play feature is especially useful for handling form filling chores on demand. No installation is necessary, just plug and click (or even plug and auto fill – no click necessary). This feature delivered via a dynamic, floating toolbar.
SignupShield Passwords is also available as a component of SignupShield Suite – a tightly integrated tool that adds security and convenience to the basic password manager tool.
When downloading the free SignupShield Passwords product, you also get a fully functional trial version of SignupShield Suite. To upgrade to a fully licensed Suite, all you need to do is purchase a license key.
- Smart Password Manager: Same as 'SignupShield Passwords' but with virtually an unlimited capacity for saved passwords.
- 1-Click Sign-in: With a single click: Selects a site from your list of saved sites, browses to the site, fills out a sign-in form on that site and submits that form.
- Auto Sign-up: Automates the filling out of sign-up credentials into web forms. Generates pseudo random passwords, login names and even email addresses.
- Form Filling & Wallet: Fills out most web forms with one click. Recognizes form context using artificial intelligence methods . (For example: differentiating between billing address and shipping address fields ).
- Fraud Alert: Monitors form submissions by users and alerts them when they are about to submit sensitive information to a suspicious web site. This patent pending 'Anti-Phishing' tool leverages passwords saved by users in addition to target site analysis and periodically updated white & black lists.
- Disposable Email Address: This patent pending tool provides for shielding of email addresses entered into sign-up (and other) forms, from spam. It automatically creates alias email addresses ('disposable email addresses') to be entered into sign-up forms. Then, it forwards emails sent by web sites to such disposable addresses, to the user's real inbox. Users can filter out particular disposable addresses and stop undesirable mail.
